With the project destined for TV, we start with the script – we ensure the claims Terraclean are making can be substantiated. Once the script is cleared we move on to the creation of the advert.
Here at Lulu Animation, we love to model and develop materials and techniques to suit our approach to every animation. In this case, we needed to create a Terraclean servicing garage from the ground up, making sure it looked like a vehicle servicing garage and more than just a DPF specialist. Next, it was the creation of the car – this had to be generic, not like a car brand already out there and of course, the engine and exhaust system were modelled to give us full creative freedom when it came to bringing the advert to life.
The flow of the advert fell into two categories, the problem and the solution. For the problem, we wanted to show the diagnostics with a futuristic scan of the car to find the source of the problem. For the solution, we had to show off the Terraclean patented unit, then the three spheres of the Terraclean logo, which are the driving forces of the cleaning, spinning through the exhaust system and removing the built-up carbon within the DPF, cleaning the DPF filter.
